This was such a good week! On Tuesday we were visiting a less-active lady in the ward and she told us her half-sister was in Lincoln that day for a dentist appointment and that they were going to go to lunch after. So about half an hour later, her half-sister walked in, and it was Sister Spiegel from the Aurora branch!!! It was so fun to see her and talk with her.
And then on Saturday we got to go to a baptism for the Nebraska City ward and I got to see all my Neb City peeps! It was so funny, Sister Munger and I walked in and we went up to Bishop and Sister Kunz and we were like, "Can we sit by you?" and then they were like, "Sister Temp!" and then everyone looked and after the baptism I got to say hi to all the ward members that came. It's just too bad I didn't see anyone from Elkhorn this week, otherwise that would've covered all my areas.
And here's a TON of migrating birds if you can see them. There were like, 20 billion at least. This is just a small section of all the birds, it went on for like a mile. It was sweet.
Quotes of the Week:
"All that we call human history--money, poverty, ambition, war, prostitution, classes, empires, slavery--is the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy." ~C.S. Lewis
"Happiness is the object and design of our existence; and will be the end thereof, if we pursue the path that leads to it; and this path is virtue, uprightness, faithfulness, holiness, and keeping the commandments. But we cannot keep all the commandments without first knowing them, and we cannot expect to know all, or more than we now know unless we comply with or keep those we have already received." ~Joseph Smith
~Sister Temp
